Changing Your Subject Line

Overview

Did someone send you an email with a really BAD subject line? Are the chances good that you won't be able to find this email again when you really need it? Never fear! You can change it to something better!

Instructions

 1.  Open Outlook.

 2.  Open the INDIVIDUAL email with the subject line you want to change.

 3.  Go to the top text toolbar (Standard toolbar) -- this is located in the upper left-hand side of the email window. Click on Edit and select Edit Message.

Woo hoo! You'll now be able to edit the message!!!

 4.  Go to the subject line and type in your new (and more helpful) subject.

 5.  Click the 'X' (upper right-hand corner of your email) to Close.

 6.  You'll be prompted: Do you want to save changes? Click the 'Yes' button.

You've done it!
